The Oculus Quest isn’t designed to be used outdoors. The current class of 6dof headsets like Vive Focus, Lenovo Mirage Solo, and Oculus Quest are trying to scan the floor, walls, and ceiling for identifiable markers that can be used for tracking, but in an open park their are a lot fewer markers to track, no walls, and no ceilings, and the consequence is that devices of this type will track poorly outdoors. Thus world tracking is not a useful term just yet. A better terms would be architecture tracking devices, tracking is good if you have a floor, walls, and a ceiling, a large warehouse with lots of shelves (like Costco) is going to track much better than an empty warehouse that has a huge wide open space.
