Keynote + Panel Speaker Dr. Tim Mullen

CEO / Research Director, Intheon Labs

“Dr. Tim Mullen is a computational and cognitive neuroscientist and founding CEO and research director at Intheon, a San Diego based startup and scientific research lab developing advanced neurotechnology solutions and the first cloud-scalable middleware platform for neural interfacing and biosignal processing. Intheon’s R&D team combines approaches from machine learning, signal processing, neuroinformatics, and computational and cognitive neuroscience to develop novel solutions for inferring cognitive state from brain and other (e.g. heart, muscle, gaze, etc) sensor data. Over the last decade, Tim and other team members have developed and extended widely-used open software, standards, and methods for neuroscience data analysis and brain-computer interfacing. At Intheon, their mission is to accelerate growth, accessibility, and impact of transformative neurotechnology solutions by enabling turnkey integration of brain & body state decoding into any application or device — anytime, anywhere.”

“Web APIs for Plug-and-Play Neurotechnology

“At Intheon, our vision is to embed advanced neurotechnology into everyday life. We offer a middleware platform for biosignal interpretation, which is easily integrated into existing mobile and desktop applications through a cloud API. NeuroScale™ empowers developers to rapidly create transformative brain- and body-aware applications impacting medicine and health, interactive technology, marketing, education, and more.”

Panel Speaker: Naomi Assaraf is co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of cloudHQ

cloudHQ is a productivity startup that makes Gmail more useful. In the last 2 years at cloudHQ, she increased user acquisition by a factor of 9. Her main focus is growth, obsessing over the process of growing startups to their profitability stage. She’s since done so for each of her 3 companies since her first one at age 17; which resulted in an exit. She mentors other startups on growth, is a global keynote speaker, and is a blog contributor for the Huffington Post. Her most current interests revolve around artificial intelligence and mixed reality.

Demo + Panel Speaker: Sony Green, Business Development at Kineviz

“Sony Green works with Kineviz’ clients and partners to devise VR-based solutions for visualizing high-dimensional data. He has worked for Salesforce, the CDC, LucasArts, Yahoo, IGN, and several tech start ups. Sony brings a cross-disciplinary approach with a grounding in 3D animation to the work of business development.”
Sony will be speaking on a panel and bringing a demo of Kineviz’s Virtual Reality Datavizualization product.

Demo from Vision Agency: MicrodoseVR with TPCAST on the HTC Vive

Microdose VR was recently at #CES2018 with a new wireless adapter, featuring Muse biofeedback hardware animating particles to the player’s heartbeat and full body haptic feedback by SUBPAC, oh yea feel the bass! #dosetheworld #microdoseVRmusic by Bluetech and mixed reality implementation with the help of Master Foo Hoang

Fan-made Star Wars demo scene from Kevin Beltran, student at USF working in VR research. Kevin is looking to meet or join other VR developers to work on future projects.
A demo from Subpac was added to the MicrodoseVR demo (mentioned previously)
Joining the panel at the last minute was Jackie Becker. Technical Evangelist and Software Engineer at Microsoft, recent graduate of Stanford University with a B.S. in Computer Science.
A demo from Vicky — Unity Developer called Space Bar Fight
